Special Schools (Novice and Intermediate)

Our special track school is a unique experience that will send you home happy, tired, thoroughly introduced to track riding and with more riding skills that you can apply both to your street riding and future track rides.

This school is a skills and drills school that alternates between classroom sessions and on-track sessions. You'll typically spend 30 minutes in the classroom, followed by 30 minutes on track.

During the on-track sessions you will regularly be working 1-on-1 with an instructor, with 'checkpoints' set up around the track where you will stop and get feedback from your instructor every few minutes.

The topics being taught in the Novice School include:

Introduction and basic track etiquette
Navigating the track
Vision and picking reference points
On track comfort
Body positioning
Intro to cornering
Intro to braking
Basic Track Bike maintenance

The topics being taught in the Intermediate School include:

Basics Review
Reference Points and Vision Techniques
Throttle Management
Advanced body positioning
Gaining familiarity with the entire width of the track
Passing Techniques & Planning Ahead
Trail Braking
Suspension

We will be allowing people to stay overnight at the track. If you wish to stay at a hotel, it is perfectly safe to leave your equipment at the track. Security guards will be on duty and Z² staff will be monitoring the entire paddock.

As with all Z² events, we provide water. You may wish to bring salty snacks and some lunch.
